Bevin Schmidt has been living and breathing the paddling culture since his youth in North Bay Ontario. Bevin is a qualified padding instructor/coach with various paddling associations. Bevin and his wife LA founded the Ottawa River Canoe Club in 2002. This club encompasses all types of paddle sports including sprint kayak/canoe, dragon boat, outrigger canoe, surfski, stand up paddleboard, and recreational canoe.
Bevin’s company, wavepaddlesport.ca, imports high quality Vajda canoes, kayaks and surfskis from Slovakia and Kape canoes and kayaks from Hungary.
